UploadVideo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how UploadVideo, the Windows desktop application (also distributed as ExplainVideo) operated by ToolBox Hub (mxhvip.click), handles information when you connect your TikTok account and use the app to publish videos you create to TikTok.

In short: UploadVideo runs on your own computer. It has no user accounts, and we do not operate a server that receives your TikTok data. Your TikTok access tokens and your videos stay on your computer and are sent only to TikTok.

1. Information the app accesses

From TikTok, only after you authorize the app

• Basic profile information (user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID and display name, used to show which account is connected.
• Access token and refresh token issued by TikTok, used to upload and publish videos to your account at your request.
• Creator information returned by TikTok before posting, such as the privacy levels your account allows, used to show valid posting options.
• Upload and publishing status of the videos you post, such as processing, sent to your inbox, or published.

Content you create in the app

• Video files rendered by the app on your computer, and the caption, hashtags and privacy setting you choose for each post.
• Scripts, images, voice settings and other project files you create, stored locally on your computer.

The app does not access your TikTok followers, direct messages, likes, watch history, or any videos other than the ones you upload with the app.

2. How the information is used

• To upload the video you select to your TikTok account, either as a draft in your TikTok inbox or as a post with the caption and privacy level you choose.
• To check the upload status and tell you whether the post succeeded.
• To keep your account connected so you do not have to authorize the app every time (the refresh token is used to renew access).

The app never posts on its own. A video is uploaded only when you click Post video, or when you turn on automatic posting for videos you render yourself.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use TikTok data to train artificial intelligence models.

3. Storage and security

• Tokens and settings are stored only on your computer, in the folder %APPDATA%\ExplainVideo. Access tokens, refresh tokens and other secrets are encrypted with Windows Data Protection (DPAPI), so only your Windows user account can decrypt them.
• Videos are uploaded directly from your computer to TikTok over encrypted HTTPS connections and do not pass through our servers.
• We do not keep copies of your TikTok data on mxhvip.click or on any other server.

4. Sharing with third parties

• TikTok: your videos, captions and publishing choices are sent to TikTok through the TikTok Content Posting API and are processed under TikTok's own Privacy Policy.
• Services you configure yourself: if you use the script writing and voice features, the text you enter is sent to Google Gemini and ElevenLabs with API keys that you provide. No TikTok data is sent to these services.
• Legal requirements: we would only disclose information when required by applicable law.

6. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required to use TikTok in your country.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or TikTok's requirements change. The new version will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
